La Salle's Lukowicz and Barrington's Bennett named United Soccer Coaches All-Americans.

La Salle Academy senior defender Laura Lukowicz and Barrington High School defender Jackson Bennett continued to add up their accolades on the 2020 Fall Season as they were named United Soccer Coaches All-Americans.

Lukowicz and the La Salle Academy Rams Girls Soccer team captured the school’s 14th state title with a 3-0 victory over Pilgrim. La Salle’s backfield of Lukowicz, Jackie Comeau, Malena Corso and Jazyma Harris were one of the stingiest in the RIIL this season along with the assistance in the midfield from Jordan Teguis.

“Every game our goal is to not let up any shots,” said Rams defender Laura Lukowicz after their State Championship win.

Jackson Bennett led the Barrington High School Eagles Boys Soccer team defense to the State Playoffs before they fell 1-1 (4-3 PK) to South Kingstown, the eventual State Finalist. Barrington went 6-1-4 on the season to finish 5th overall in the RIIL Rankings.
