Bengals player recognized for helping the youth out

Cincinnati- Shawn Williams is recognized as Week 7 NFLPA MVP after he donated money and raised money to help out students in Atlanta.

Williams donated $80,000 and helped raise over $20,000 for Chromebooks for students that went to Williams Early County High School. Williams was highly praised for his contributions and was thankful for the recognition, but wanted to make a difference in these students' lives. Since the pandemic has caused a lot of students to learn from home, Williams wanted the students to get the best resources and tools to help them excel.

Being named this week's Community MVP is a tremendous honor, and I am very appreciative,” Williams said.“My motivation has always been to give back to the youth in a community that raised me to be the man I am today.” “It's important that every child has fair access to information and technology,” Williams said. “So I am thankful for all of those that helped with this event in any way.”
